It requires only 1/5 of the water of more common fibres. A crop can be planted and harvested in as little as 90 days, often allowing 2 or more harvests per year. Hemp farming also uses dramatically less energy than other fibres, and hemp absorbs 4 times the CO 2 from the atmosphere than trees do.
This all gives it an incredibly low carbon footprint, and helps clean up the planet – one luxurious t-shirt at a time!
